Lara Peppard advises and defends private and public-sector employers in labor and employment-related matters, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour issues, whistleblowing, reductions in force, and restrictive covenants. Lara also regularly conducts workplace investigations. Karen M. Morinelli is a Shareholder in the Tampa office. As a former General Counsel and Vice President of Human Resources, she brings a strong business perspective to both client relations and in her approach to manage client issues. Elizabeth Jozsi is an associate in the Tampa office where she is a member of the labor & employment practice group. Originally from Coral Gables, Florida, Elizabeth graduated from Duke University in 2010. She graduated with her Juris Doctor, cum laude, and a certificate in Environmental and Land Use law from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2015.

FPHRA Pre-Conference
Arrrrggh Mateys! Pre-Conference is setting sail on Saturday, July 21st through mid-day on Sunday, July 23rd. Florida’s best presenters will be here to help educate you in your public HR role.
The Pre-Conference tracks will cover a multitude of today’s hot topics, benefit information, new regulations, and professional development. This day and a half event are jammed packed with lots of learning abilities, networking opportunities, and tons of resourceful information. Use your imagination and knowledge for a magic carpet ride that can take you anyplace.
Attendance at the full Pre-Conference gives you 12 hours of credit towards your PHRP Certification and Re-Certification. Our Pre-Conference also provides you recertification credits towards SHRM and HRCI certifications.
Arrrrggh Mateys! The Conference is setting sail Monday, July 24th thru Wednesday, July 23rd for the only state-wide conference specifically dedicated to Florida's public sector HR professionals.
The Conference sessions will cover legal updates, benefit information and hot topics. This year's conference includes a magical ‘Arabian Nights’ themed dinner on Tuesday night.
Attendance at the full Conference gives you credit towards your PHRP Certification and Re-Certification and recertification credits towards SHRM and HRCI certifications.
