Membership to FPHRA is open to anyone whose career or studies involve public personnel management, civil service administration, or other directly related, public sector HR field. Our membership forms a diverse group of individuals that range from entry level to senior management who are employed by any local (city or county) government, any state agency or other governmental agency.Our organization gives you the ability to collaborate with others in your field, specialized training opportunities, a network base with unlimited resources, and all the tools you need for advancement in the public sector HR field.
► WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO JOIN?
Membership to FPHRA is open to any local (city or county) government, state agency, or other governmental agency whose career or studies involve public personnel management, civil service administration, or other directly related, public sector HR field.
► WHAT ARE THE ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES?
Annual Memberships are from January 1st to December 31st each year.
An Agency Membership includes up to three (3) professionals actively engaged in some phase of governmental human resources/personnel functions in any city, county, state, or other government agency in the State of Florida. An agency may have more than one (1) agency membership. Each of these professionals shall have the right to vote and hold office.Individual $100.00
An Individual who is actively engaged in some phase of governmental human resources/personnel functions in any city, county, state, or other government agency in the State of Florida. Individual members shall have the right to vote and hold office.
Individuals who are retired from governmental human resources/personnel functions, are no longer employed by a public sector employer, and were active members of FPHRA for at least the last five (5) years. Retirees shall have all the rights of Individual membership including the right to vote and hold office.
A graduate or undergraduate student of Public Administration or Human Resources/Personnel Management or a closely related field who supports the objectives of FPHRA. Student members shall be permitted to participate in the affairs of the association, but will not be eligible to vote or hold office.
Consultants or individuals who are exclusively representing management in the field of human resources/personnel who support the objectives of FPHRA. Associate members will not have the right to vote or hold office.
