► WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO JOIN?
Any local (city or county) government, any state agency or other governmental agency, any individual involved in public personnel management or civil service administration, or other individual associated with the same fields on behalf of management.
► WHAT ARE THE ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES?
There are five classes of membership:
An Individual who is actively engaged in some phase of governmental human resources/personnel functions in any city, county, state, or other government agency in the State of Florida. Three representatives from the same agency may constitute Agency membership. Individual members shall have the right to vote and hold office.
Those persons actively engaged in some phase of governmental human resources/personnel functions in any city, county, state, or other government agency in the State of Florida. An Agency Membership covers three (3) of the agency’s representatives. An agency may have more than one (1) agency membership. Each of these employees shall have the right to vote and hold office.
Consultants or individuals who are exclusively representing management in the field of human resources/personnel who support the objectives of FPHRA. Associate members will not have the right to vote or hold office.
Individuals who are retired from governmental human resources/personnel functions, are no longer employed by a public sector employer, and were active members of FPHRA for at least the last five (5) years. Retirees shall have all the rights of Individual membership including the right to vote and hold office.
A graduate or undergraduate student of Public Administration or Human Resources/Personnel Management or a closely related field who supports the objectives of FPHRA. Student members shall be permitted to participate in the affairs of the association, but will not be eligible to vote or hold office. An individual who qualifies for both Individual and Student membership will not be eligible for the Student membership.
► HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
To join FPHRA, please download the membership form below. Fill out the form completely and send payment to the address listed. You will receive an FPHRA password immediately upon receipt of your dues.
